August update... and a secret is out!

Cup of coffee and a manage my website brownie

August has been hectic at the manage my website offices, so we thought we'd take a little coffee break, and share a rather big secret with you. You'll have to wait for that though.

As you'll already know if you follow us on facebook or twitter, Squeaky Dog balloons and The Cherry Closet vintage clothes and accessories websites have now launched. We've been in touch with both businesses, and their customer feedback has been excellent so far. manage my website wishes them the very best of luck in their new ventures!

So what are we up to now? We're currently in the beginning stages of designing new websites for an industrial cleaning company, a plant and tool hire business, and a scaffolding business. It looks as though all three will be launching around the end of September, so next month is going to be a busy one.

Apart from that, we've been writing press releases and testimonials for Higher Concept Software, and taking care of advertising for plant and tool hire specialist jobs website Executive Hire Jobs. Judging by the number of businesses looking to recruit recently, the economy could finally be showing the first signs of picking up.

Email newsletters are becoming increasingly popular over print these days. Not only are they more cost effective, but they also give you the ability to track their effectiveness incredibly easily. manage my website have been investigating various suppliers for our clients, and we can highly recommend Newsweaver and Mail Chimp. Click here for our previous entry on 10 Good Reasons To Move Your Newsletter From Print To Email.

manage my event, our sister company, has now been set up and the website is currently being finalised. They're already taking bookings up to March 2010 so if you need any help with organising an event just get in touch and we'll pass on your query to our events genius, Ali Brain.

And now onto our little secret. You might have noticed the photograph of a totally delicious looking cake at the top of this article? Well how would you like a recipe to make the most squidgy and sinful brownies in the entire world? The way they're created has been a closely guarded secret for a few years now, but now manage my website feels it's time to let go.

Remember... be brave during cooking time (dry, hard brownies aren't good), eat them warm from the oven with a fresh coffee, and above all ENJOY!

Quantity Ingredients
200g Milk chocolate (organic), broken up into chunks
100g Plain chocolate (organic), broken up into chunks
3/4 tub Nutella
250g Butter, cubed
5 Medium Eggs, beaten
350g Golden caster sugar
200g Plain flour
1 dash Vanilla essence
100g Milk chocolate chips
50g Hazelnuts, chopped
1 small bag Whole hazelnuts

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C/gas 4. Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Cool. Line a large muffin tray with muffin cases (any sized muffins will do!). Beat the eggs with the sugar, pour in the cooled chocolate mixture, vanilla essence, Nutella, add a pinch of salt and sift in the flour. Beat until blended and stir through the chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
2. Pour mixture into the cases in the tin, put a few whole nuts on each, and bake for 25–30 minutes. The outsides will look crackled and the inside will feel firm but will still be gooey. Be brave if they look on the point of collapse - they need to be soft and fudgy on the inside!
3. Allow to cool in the tin for at least 20 minutes.
4. Eat and enjoy!!

To make them even naughtier, top with milk chocolate icing, but you may need a year's worth of daily gym sessions to burn the calories off!
