manage my website's July round-up
Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:43AM It's been far too long since we updated our Journal, and that's chiefly because we've been too busy! Ironic really, considering that our main service is website maintenance...
So what have we been up to?
New websites and branding
We're now in the final testing phase of brand new online balloon shop Squeaky Dog. Powered by Zen Cart, it promises to be a vibrant, attractive website which will appeal to anyone organising a party, wedding or other special event. manage my website also created new branding and we'll be posting more details as soon as it's been launched.
The Cherry Closet is a vintage clothes website we've been working on. The branding, photography and design process is now over and it's being built, again using Zen Cart. With a beautiful retro feel and pictures that jump out and make you want to climb into your nearest attic for vintage finds, it's sure to be a winner.
Website development
Ironically, we recently wrote a Journal entry about our next, unexpected Wiltshire Removals and Storage client. As it turned out, within hours of the entry being written and approved by them, they contacted us with a major website issue and asked us to help them out. We've cleaned up their logos to get the ball rolling, and are now well on our way to sorting them out with as little fuss as possible!
Marketing and PR
manage my website have now been taken on by a software company to assist them with their marketing on a monthly basis. We've already written three press releases for this globally successful business, and will also be sourcing and writing testimonials for their website (which we're going to help them rebuild later in the year).
We've been working with Executive Hire News for quite some time - a plant and tool hire publishing company who also run a successful industry national exhibition, an industry club website and a plant and tool hire recruitment website. As well as maintaining and developing their four websites, we also organise their email marketing campaigns.
Copywriting
A Melksham based web designer contacted manage my website earlier in the month, asking us to write copy for a local Bed & Breakfast website he was working on. We were happy to help, visited the farm to take a full brief, and are now awaiting approval on the first draft. Once the new website has been launched you'll be the first to know, and we strongly recommend you visit. Their breakfasts are to die for!
